1 What Does Responsible Gaming Mean

Responsible gaming means enjoying gaming as a fun, bounded activity — where you decide how much to play, how much to spend, and when to stop. It's fundamentally about staying in control.

Responsible gaming at Rootbet is more than a policy — it's core to who we are. We want every user to see gaming as entertainment, not as a source of income or a way to solve problems.

Gaming becomes a problem when it starts to negatively affect your daily life, family, work, or finances. Responsible gaming is about staying aware before things reach that point.

Remember: Gaming is purely optional entertainment. Never bet money you can't afford to lose.
2 Recognize the signs of problem gaming

Many people don't realize when their gaming habits are becoming a problem. Watch for the signs below — in yourself or someone close to you:

Chasing losses to win back money
Lying to family about your gaming
Money meant for bills or debt is being spent on gaming
Can't stop even when you want to?
Neglecting work or studies to play
Feeling restless or irritable when not gaming
Skipping sleep or meals to keep playing
Borrowing money to fund gaming
If any of the signs above apply to you, seek help now. It's not a sign of weakness — it's a sign of self-awareness.
3 Test yourself

Answer the following questions honestly. They'll help you understand your own gaming behavior:

Did you exceed your budget while gaming last month?
Has gaming ever caused problems in your relationships with family?
Have you chased losses by placing more bets after losing?
Has gaming affected your sleep or daily routine?
Do you feel bored or restless when you're not gaming?
Have you neglected important responsibilities because of gaming?

If you answered "yes" to 2 or more questions, use Rootbet's responsible gaming tools or reach out to our support team.
